Haen't seen that before. What version of mplayer, and does switching the ao to
alsa change anything?

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
$ pacman -Qi mplayer-vaapi | grep version
Version        : 35014-1

Switching Audio Output to ALSA does not change anything.
Are you able to reproduce this?

I actually can reproduce it. Funny that it does not happen with video files, as
far as I know everything should be the same. Actually none of the buttons work
after restart so something is going wrong there.

Found it and fixed it in gmtk, SVN version 183

This patch should apply to v1.0.6 of gmtk as well, as long as you remove the
gm_log line.

http://code.google.com/p/gmtk/source/detail?r=183

Very simple, it just moves the state change out of the if statement.
