What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a video in gnome-mplayer
2. Try to close gnome-mplayer. Nothing happens.
3. Try to close gnome-mplayer twice. Then gnome-mplayer closes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I try to close the program, the console spits this message:
GMLIB-Message: in media state change with state = play dontplaynext = 1

When I try to close the program the second time, the console spits this message:
GMLIB-Message: in media state change with state = unknown dontplaynext = 1

Then the program closes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Arch Linux
mplayer 36498
gnome-mplayer 1.0.8

Please provide the full log by running gnome-mplayer with the -v option from
the terminal

Hi,

You may close this, because in Preferences you must select one 'Video Output'.
On the very first run this option is blank, but once I select one - be it xv,
x11, gl, etc - I can no longer reproduce the issue.
