MacOS BigSur - Lagging #2196

Hello, I'm using storyboarder on MacOS Big Sur w a Wacom Intuos Pro and it laggs so much that for example to write notes on handwritten style its a real pain. I have to slow down, wait...ecc.. Is this a bug, or is it this slow always? I just started to use it for a projekt, but this makes it not really a go-to tool in my pipeline for the future :(

What model/year Mac do you have? Is it still slow if you use just the trackpad to draw? For older computers you can try the toggle for lower quality drawing mode in preferences. And try closing any other open apps.

Hello,

I'm on a 5k 2017 iMac. With my other Wacom One seems to work better. Yes I tried to close other apps, no help.

An other issue is that when I undo a new artboard creation or add sound it gives an error message realted to permissions or some long engine folder structure...

Working on a new Storyboarder release soon which should be faster. Send a screenshot of that error message if you see it again.

Oh, and an other thing, it used a lot of hardware, when Im painting in photoshop w huge canvas, complex brushes my cooling never throtles, this time all the time when I was drawing it turned up a lot of times...
