Since updating to the new version onion skins have stopped working, additionally, the play button will now only advance one frame at a time instead of playing all frames.

already pointed this out in #980

Thanks for the report. We're tracking the onion skin bug in #918.

I wasn't able to recreate the play button issue you described. Can you provide some more information about how to recreate that bug?

I had the play button bug too. Mac OS X 10.12.6. "Play" by Spacebar or button advances one frame and stops. I get the same result whether I'm at the first frame or a subsequent frame.

Potential FIX: Make sure your file is a new one, made with this new version of Storyboarder. That fixed it for me. A more waterproof update system would be a "nice to have" in the future, especially since updates are so encouraged by the UI.

However, the program's free, so if updates are a little janky sometimes, I think we can deal.

I think it must have been an issue on my end after rebooting my computer the play button has started working again.

If it is a previous version file thing, I wonder if the new version resaving itself fixes it? With no reboot, I actually opened the same file and it now works as well.
