ChatGPT makes up reference !!?? #339

I have already reported the issue but have not got any feedback. When asked to provide url links or references to articles, ChatGPT simply makes them up. For example, within the context of a discussion, I request a reference on the subject, I get this reference: J. K. Gimzewski et al., "Superconducting Qubits with YBCO Thin Films," Superconductor Science and Technology, vol. 33, no. 4, 2020. doi: 10.1088/1361-6668/ab7f87. This reference does not exist and is totally made up. When ChatGPT is told that it does not exist, it does make up another one ! which is equally wrong. Anyone noticed this? Even worse, I asked ChatGPT to provide me with the abstract of this paper, it did. The abstract is totally made up since the article does not exists. When asked to regenerate answer, a different abstract is generated !!!! lol

That is a chatGPT issue , there is nothing we can do about it, we are simply making API calls to chatGPT I believe
