Caution: Using GPT-4 by Default

Please do not use GPT-4 by default for ChatGPT Plus subscribers. Was not aware my extension updated and blew through my cap using regular Google searches.

The cap is currently 25 messages every 3 hours and is expected to be even lower by sometime next week.

@jfryton seems right to me. I had to disable your extension because it consumed my GPT-4 usage cap of 25 messages every 3 hours. It would be nice if you modify the default or create a select option. Thank you.

I'd also flag that there isn't much benefit to using GPT-4 on the search engine sidebar, because it really only shines on longer and more complicated queries. For search, GPT-3.5-Turbo is probably the best bet for quick and succinct answers.

I appreciate the dev's work but have also had to disable it for the time being.

Edit: Have noticed this extension was acquired so the github is no longer active.

100% agree. I found out it was using GPT-4 because how slow it was. It doesn't make any sense to use GPT-4 for most simple web searches because of the cap and slow response.

@wong2 I'd like to reserve my GPT-4 quota for more complicated senarios where it shines. What's the rationale for using GPT-4 by default?
