Lack of confirmation for high-risk command 'clear' #4

Open wongkj12 opened 6 months ago

When i enter the "clear" command, there is no warning message, and a deletion of all entries in ClinicMate is performed. There is no way to retrieve the information back.

This could be risky, as perhaps users may be testing commands, and unintentionally delete all patient entries.

Team's Response

We stated it very clearly in the UG what the clear command does and the warning warns users about the complete deletion, and hence the proposed feature is not supported in this current version, justifying it as NotInScope. Given that there does exist a warning in the UG we set the severity of this feature flaw to low, users of the app who come across the clear command in the UG should be suitably preempted about the dangers of the command. Nonetheless, we do acknowledge that it could be useful to have a warning about this in the app itself in the future, so we have set this to be NotInScope instead of Rejecting it.
