Cedric Pulmano (t7t2z) 1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? I, along with my teammates, worked on planning how to implement our Easy Eats project. In our database, we discussed what entities (such as users, restaurants, reviews, favourites list) and relationships (such as friendships, users reviewing restaurants) to include in our project. We also discussed some important, general features we need on our website, such as a login page, user account page, restaurant page, and search page.

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? It took us some time to figure out the best way to structure the frontend portion of our project, but after discussing and showing each other our prototypes, we had some similarities that we agreed upon and it helped us better visualize what would look best.

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? I plan to work on helping implement some of the React components that we will have on our website, such as the restaurant headers, restaurant menu, restaurant item, friends list, friend banner, or navigation bar.

Malcolm Zhao (g0t0j) 1. What did you work on this past iteration: I met up with the team to discuss and complete our project plan, come up with a group name, and draw prototypes of what our website might look like.

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? Nothing so far has been majorly challenging or something we got stuck on, outside of small debates in project names and other things we solved as a team.

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? We will start holding more meetings to discuss what website layout and work on the code for the project using React and Redux.

Tammy Kim (r0x2b)

1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? I communicated with my team on Discord to come up with the group name, and more importantly, the project’s name, description, task requirements, task breakdowns, and prototypes. We decided which minimal and main features we should implement for the project and tried to make our prototypes satisfy these. 2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? I live in a very different time zone (16 hours difference from Vancouver time), so it is sometimes difficult to respond quickly to my team’s messages on Discord. I also accidentally missed one of the meetings with the team, so I plan to not make the same mistake again by always setting alarms for the future meeting schedules. 3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? I plan to have further discussion with my team regarding which frontend features to implement with React (and maybe Redux) for upcoming Project Progress 2, divide our work as equally as possible, and hopefully finish all my frontend tasks well before the deadline.

Wonhak Choi (o9z2b)

1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? I worked on communicating and working with our team to go through project progress 1. We had 2 meetings dedicated to project progress 1, and during those times we came up with our group name, project name, project descriptions, tasks, etc.

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? I don't think I had any major challenges. Deciding on things as a group is never an easy task, but I would say our group was able to discuss and communicate well to make decisions on our project.

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Our group is planning to meet up to further discuss about what we're going to do for the next 2 weeks to meet our project progress 2 deadline. We each will likely work on some React components and create a backbone structure for our project.

Chenwen Shen (m2d2b)

1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? I worked on brainstorming ideas for the project, and meeting with the group to finalize it. Also helping with writing the project description and requirements for project process 1. I drew prototypes for the project and shared those with the group on a second meeting and we also discussed the working agreement.

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? Our group had a bit of trouble deciding on a name for this project. Personally, the names I came up with were pretty bad and so I am glad for my group members to share better ideas than I did.

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? I am planning on coming up with various ways to split our prototypes into React components and deciding as a group how we should structure and split the work. Then I will follow through with the commitment we made and make the React components to submit for project progress 2.
