  1. Mobile application for medication adherence This project is of particular interest to me because I have a BS in biology and am excited to find ways that technology can be used to improve everyday life relating to medicine and biology. I have 3 years experience with Java and would like to extend that knowledge to mobile development, particularly Android or iOS.

  2. Automated data extraction from mammalian cells This project is of particular interest to me because I have a BS in biology and would like to apply my current experience in computer science to assist in the advancement of scientific knowledge. While I do not have experience with machine learning, I am currently enrolled in the artificial intelligence class and would look forward to learning it.

  3. Smartphone Gps Duty-Cycle For Saving Battery In Navigation I would like to work on this project because I am well aware of the inconvenience of having a multi-hour drive being assisted by GPS that rapidly depletes my battery only to discover that I forgot my car charger adapter. Implementing a solution to decrease battery consumption during such trips would give drivers one less thing to be distracted by and potentially increase driver (and pedestrian) safety. I do not know much about how GPS actually works but would enjoy learning about it.
