NLP has always been an interesting topic for me that I have always wanted to delve deep into. Unfortunately, I have not been able to learn much besides what I have learned on my own but I am more than willing to learn. The first project specifically is interesting as I have taken ASL here at Pitt that I believe would help throughout the length of the term. It would also be beneficial to the Deaf community especially if this technology eventually became widespread.
