All three of the selected projects are related to AI/Machine Learning, which is an area of focus that I want to really expand on and gain experience with. In the summer of 2019, I Interned at the Naval Research Laboratories and was able to gain some experience with neural networks. I trained models that tried to detect adversarial attacks against themselves. I worked in the Tensorflow/Keras framework in Python. This experience was a good introduction to AI, but obviously my knowledge is still quite limited. However, AI/ML is something that really interests me, and all three of the listed projects seem like great opportunities to learn + expand my scope of knowledge. I'm eager to dive into one of these projects and immerse myself in the material.
