  1. CGI Client Onboarding Portal. I know there will be a lot of interest around this, and I am now further down the line - but I'll give it my best shot! This project seems like the best fit for me, especially given how well I work in a team environment, and with the experience I have in Java. I have been particularly interested in UI, and recently I've started to think that developing web applications is what I'll pursue upon graduating. Besides from the fact that it'd be cool to work with an external company like CGI, I think what's even better is the ability to learn new technologies. I don't have extensive experience with Maven, Docker, or SonarQube, but I'm always willing to learn & expand on my knowledge (something this project would allow me to do). I took CS 1520 last semester, and have been interested in further expanding my knowledge since.
  2. TA assignment application. As someone who has dealt with scheduling issues for jobs & organizations (on a smaller scale) in the past, it's easy for me to understand just how difficult this might be. This project, a web application, is something that I feel really plays to my strong suits. As I indicated above, after taking CS 1520 last semester, I've been particularly interested in expanding and improving on my knowledge. I also am comfortable working on both frontend and backend development - especially after learning both React & Flask(Python) not too long ago. The communication issue that is spoken about, since groups can be split in "subteams", is also something I'm particularly good at implementing.
  3. NetApp Swagger UI. I learned about RESTful APIs in CS 1520, but feel like I need more knowledge. This project would allow me to expand on that, all while getting to develop a UI - something I'm interested in. I have experience with React/Javascript, and have used HTTP to interact with RESTful software applications.
  4. RISC-V web based simulator for CS447. I remember taking CS 447 and the many times I was completely frustrated with MARS (as did my professor) - always thought that there could be some better technology. Which, makes me extremely interested in developing something that could better fix this issue. This project would allow me to bring my experience with Javascript to the table, all while helping me to further expand my knowledge in assembly.
