CGI is my top pick because it's a company I'd like to work for post graduation and I'd like to get some experience working with their team. I'm extremely interested in creating user-friendly applications aimed at solving a problem for customers. I also have real world experience in Project management working for the Air Force. Finally, I'm currently taking two software related classes (Software Engineering and Software QA) that would mesh nicely this project.
2. Building AI Systems for Sign Language Interpretation
This is my second pick because I'm currently taking CS1699 AI for Good: Ethics and Implications, and I believe another project centered around working with AI would be a worthwhile endeavor. I'm very interested in developing AI systems that provide societal benefits and while I'd most definitely need to adapt to whichever coding platform is being used, I think that's more than worth the experience it will provide.
3. Swagger UI Alternatives
I believe that working on this project would be extremely beneficial in gaining experience working in real-world backend development. I don't have any experience with any of the mentioned languages, but I'm more than willing to put in the time to learn them. As I said above, I'm interested in creating user-friendly applications, so this fits right into that wheelhouse.
