  1. CGI - Client Onboarding This project interests me because it combines concepts and technology I've worked with previously with some new technologies I haven't used before. I'm also confident that these skills will help me greatly when entering the workforce. I enjoyed learning about responsive design and other UI design philosophies in Web Development (CS 1520), and have extensive experience with java, as it was my first language. I also became familiar with SQL through CS 1520 and Databases (CS 1555). I've also gained experience with git through almost every class I've taken here at Pitt.
  2. Pitt Cyber Range - Active RST Attack Lab This project just sounds plain cool to work on. I admittedly don't have much cyber security experience, but I do have plenty of Python experience and know the necessary basics of networking from CS 1520. Being able to say that I designed a lab for others to learn through is something I'd love to brag about.
  3. Allegheny County Policing Project (ACPP) v.2.0 The goals of this project are deeply interesting to me and I'd love to be a part of something that people in need would use. I'd love to work with Dr. Farnan on this, as I learned what I know about creating web apps using React/Python through him in CS 1520.
  4. GUI for AppArmor This project is interesting to me for many of the same reasons as above. Designing UI interests me, and doing it to simplify a command line application sounds enjoyable. I gained extensive linux familiarity in Game Design (CS 1666), and utilized virtual machines often in CS 1520. I'd also love to work with Dr. Garrison, it's been a long time since I've had him as a professor.
