how to have pause/play button in center of flex slider similar to prev and next controls #1674

I am attempting to have the pause play button appear and be functional in the center of the slider and appear and disappear in the same effect as the prev and next buttons. I have exhausted my knowledge on how to do this with no avail. If anyone can please provide me some assistance it will be greatly appreciated.
