Unable to connect Woocommerce shop to Facebook shop #2089

✍️ Describe the bug

I am unable to connect my WooCommerce store to facebook page. During the page setup it shows the Facebook shop option disabled with message - 'This account is based in a market where Instagram Shopping is not supported at this time'.

I am using my personal account - https://www.facebook.com/hrithik.dalal/ Region - India

🚶‍♀️ Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the 'Facebook for WooCommerce plugin' and activate it.
  2. Go to configure page and click on get started.
  3. Click on Continue as 'USERNAME'.

✔️ Expected behavior

Facebook Shop option on the setup screen should not be disabled.

In order to connect your WooCommerce shop to Facebook, you need to be eligible according to Facebook requirements. The summary of the requirements can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2347002662267537

The screenshot you pasted shows that this is the Facebook side that is blocking your connection. Please contact Facebook support for further information.
