Facebook Shop does not show my products. Products are synced, but cataloge is empty #557

Hello, I am trying to resolve this issue since last week, FB support couldn't figure it out why products are not showing under shop tab. Shop tab is ON.I have tested with opening a new page and synced products successfully so it is just with particularly this page https://www.facebook.com/draganadujovic%20/?timeline_context_item_type=intro_card_work&timeline_context_item_source=1025449302 The products on woocomerce are synced and connected with primary page ,it is confirmed they are in inventory but not in shop section or either in the catalog. I tried to deactivate and install the plugin again. And I am using last update plugin. Please help how to resolve my issue.Thanks I appreciate

After I have checked all other issues reported before, I did everything that was required from your side but didn't work. All details are here. I tried to open another FB page products were there in cataloge and they are showing under SHOP tab.But there is some bug with primary page Dragana that I am trying to conect my web store.

I have the same problem unfortunately. I have the plugin: 1.7.3 but it's the one I installed through facebook and I didn't found any other download source honestly. Where can I find later version? I doubt though is the plugin and I think that it's the page as well, because the first time worked correctly the loading, then I had to remove the products because of problems and then I have never been able to reload them as well, same screenshot as has been posted previously.

Hi @less97 Oh it is so frustrating.I know what you mean. I’m still waiting regarding my page shop with any news here.Im still positive. So hopefully we gonna get more information what creates the issue here. I have installed my plugin on WooCommerce website. And it is 1.9.1 Try it again. You have old version. Good luck

I tried the new version and I still have the problem unfortunately. Checking in facebook what I see is the following error:

"Your list of data can't be empty. Add products at your product list file and load it again. Loading an empty file will delete all the products in your list. If you want to proceed with this operation, remove the list from where they were loaded".

Hi, thanks. Of course I had it. But I discovered that the problem was Google analytics plugin. It was conflicting for some reason unknown. Thank you very much for your help though!

Thanks for your info. I checked our remote logging, it has your status for setup, eg. pixel, catalog..etc However, there is no thing about product sync. Have you click on the button to sync all products in the last step?

Hello @mengyingdu Yes i did, and I see confirmation on “facebook for woocomerce” plugin that products are synced with fb page Dragana. When I click on that catalogue .It says WooCommerce Dragana catalogue, but zero products are there :(

If you checked our release page's changelog, we launched new product sync mechanism for 1.8+. In order to guarantee backward compatibility, if you previously set up and sync from a version before that, resync won't use the feed approach.

If you delete your settings, and re-setup, it will fix it. Let me know if you still have this problems.

The reason it can't be published to facebook shop is because the price is 0. We have legacy requirement so won't process the product with 0 price.

Some potential cause:

  1. incompatibility with other plugin
  2. your store have special product type or config.

Ok awesome ! Oh what a mistake. Thanks for seeing that . I went to see product price for ZOE scarves and as the price of all other products I have the price $59. I don't have samples in my store. All products are live on the website, ready for purchases and in stock. The price was there all the time ,I dont know how you see 0 $ .

How did I successfully conect other new page SHOP with my website over the same plugin. With no issue. It is just with this page Dragana shop problem,the products are not visible. So if there is a problem with my website or plugin, I won't be able to sync products with new FB page. So it is something with Shop page FB page Dragana. Also I have info that visitors cant see my shop , I do see it , and I have all the settings ON.

I don't have any sample products in my store,I really don't understand what is going on here???.... why my page is not showing shop tab why my products are not synced in my catalog. And on other page all products are there in shop section. So plugin looks fine,my website is fine I dont know what else is the problem.Facebook support can not help either

You should try to disable some plugins. Maybe you have one like multicurrency or something that changes the price of your products. If I were you I would try to disable some other plugin that could be impacting and try again. Just to be sure.

Hi @less97 I don’t think so that any other plugins are causing issue, because I opened another Facebook page and I have all products synced into shop without any issue using the same plugin. It seems like just with my primary page doesn’t work well. The products are not there for some reason.

@dragad We have seen similar issue when a page has been set up with a catalog before, but the actually catalog (with synced products is a new one). Worsely, the new one didn't override the relationship. If you really want to use your previous page, you need to delete the settings for that page, then re-setup.

But you set up your store with a new page now, so i'm not 100% sure this workaround. But it doesn't hurt to try though.

  1. remove the setting with your test page,
  2. get started -> set up with the one you prefer

Hi @mengyingdu thank you very much for your effort. Yes exactly, I have tried that too. But for some reason, my products are there in inventory, confirmed after new reconfiguration, but not in catalogue again. My old and primary page is that one that I’m trying to connect the web because all businnness and followers are builded up on that page in past years. The new page would be like starting a new business. Thanks for all your help I appreciate . I will probably have to pay for The store tab to storeya or other platform, in order to have products visible straight from the web. Don’t see other option here.

just checked that I have understand your problems correctly: you have tried delete your settings, then set up your store with your preferred page?

To delete your settings, you need to go the reconfig -> advance option

I found you delete your catalog, would you want to try it again (set up with your preferred page and sync products)? So I can have more live info to debug. Let me know @dragad

I have another hypothesis, we saw issues before when a page is a business page and connected to business manager. If you can try disconnect with business manager, it might help. @dragad

When I click on settings I get this text

I am still trying to delete page from business manager on facebook

After I click on remove the page from the business manager as you suggested, I have this text

There was a problem with this request. We are working on getting it fixed as soon as we can.

But, could be some issue with that page and business manager, why fb doesn't let me remove or to delete the page from b.manager. hm

Hello: Even i am facing the exact same issue. I was earlier using the plugin but later on moved to other plugin. Now for some reasons i am trying to move back to this plugin. But when i try and do a reset in Advanced options and complete the setup steps. I get the message : "Something wrong when uploading, please try again." while uploading the products to FB.

Maybe if you use just one plugin facebook for woocomerce.T hat one works for me.Do you have your page separate from the business manager? My issue is resolved after I separate page form busines account. I got shop connected.

We fixed a similar issue #449 about two weeks ago. If you have 2Factor Authentication enabled on your business and business page it could cause the behavior outlined in this issue. Is anyone still having this issue, after doing a reset? It should be working now if it was caused by 2Fac.

Hi @mengyingdu @dragad I'm having the same issue that the Facebook page is connected to Woocommerce but not showing products on the Facebook Shop page.

I don't have a 2 factor authentication plugin so that can't be the issue :( anyone can help please??

What helped in my case was that I disconnected manager page from my fun page. And I was able to sync products. Try it to delete busines manager

After I deleted “manager administration” of the page I was able to sync whiteout problems all Products.

What I did to workaround this problem was...:

Searching for other people having this same problem I found one person that said it fixed the problem by doing the sync with the Facebook account from the owner of the FB page, not another account with delegated permission (that usually was my agency FB account). I did that and voilá, everything goes fine. I have done that two times with two different Woo stores and FB pages, and not having any single issue.

Try this if you're still having issues. It might help you.

I have a problem where I, as admin, am able to see the shop products under the tab 'shop' but no one else can. I live in South Africa, is this an option I simply cannot use or could there be a resolution? NEED HELP! (please)

The error would seem to be due to Facebook's commerce policies, rather than a plugin coding issue. I would recommend reaching out to Facebook support directly to see if they can let you know which policy was violated: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/552096935652452
