[WooCommerce 4.6 R.C-1] After updating from 4.5.2, Home screen not displaying correctly #5304

Prerequisites (mark completed items with an [x]):

Describe the bug After updating from Ver. 4.5.2 to `4.6 RC-1 the graphic and layout when switching to Home is not complete.

Expected behavior After updating to 4.6 RC-1, the Home screen should show with the correct layout per testing guidelines.

Actual behavior Upon completion of update, the user is taken to the new Home screen where they encounter this graphic:

The user has to scroll to the right to see the Next option/screen misaligned:

After completing this, the initial screen does not have a uniform layout:

Installing a fresh copy of 4.6 RC-1 does not show this behavior, the layout shows fine:

Steps to reproduce the bug (We need to be able to reproduce the bug in order to fix it.) Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. Have Ver. 4.52 of WC. Go to the WC Beta Tester plugin and update to WC 4.6 RC-1
  2. Ensure the update completes
  3. Have it redirect to the new Home area (or click on Home
  4. See error

Thanks @nixiack for reporting the issue. WooCommerce Admin is being developed in another repository: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin. I am going to move your bug report there so that the right team could take a look further.

Hey @nixiack thanks for opening the issue. Everything seems to be working fine with 4.6. Can you test it again?

I debugged this issue pretty extensively with @nixiack last week. I logged into his test site using his account in multiple browsers - and I could not recreate the issue. Additionally, if he logged in via his non-normal browser, or even used an incognito chrome window, everything was working fine for him.

We did try and have him clear his cache out, but that didn't seem to remedy the issue, but it definitely feels like his browser was hanging on to old assets in cache. Since I couldn't repro, I'm going to close this issue.
