I am eagerly awaiting the integration of additional payment methods, such as PayPal and Paystack, with the WooCommerce Block. This is a feature that not only I, but many of your loyal customers, have been anticipating for quite some time. I must stress the importance of accelerating this integration process.

@OcEchebiri for paypal please refer to https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-blocks/issues/6816 and https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#woocommerce-blocks -> seems its compatible now. Though havent tried myself until now.

As i guess your using the official plugin for paystack (https://woocommerce.com/de-de/products/paystack/) i'd suggest reaching out to the woocommerce.com support to ask how far they are compatible already. they should pass the request to the official developer to make it compatible :)

Could you please confirm if you're using this specific PayPal extension? There are several PayPal extensions available for WooCommerce, and most are incompatible with WooCommerce Blocks.

Similarly, for Paystack, are you using the official Paystack extension from the WooCommerce Marketplace? It would be helpful to know this, so we can assist you more effectively.

Hello,

Thank you for getting back to me. I've been using the PayPal Payments extension https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-paypal-payments/ and the official Paystack extension https://woocommerce.com/products/paystack/, and unfortunately, neither seems to be compatible with WooCommerce Blocks on my end. I've been checking for compatibility for several months now, and each time I attempt to use woocommerce block checkout, I receive the following error message

To troubleshoot the issue with the PayPal Payments extension, could you please share your System Status Report?

In my test environment, I installed both extensions and only observed an incompatibility notice for the Paystack extension:

We're aware of the current incompatibility with the Paystack extension, which is also noted in our documentation. To address this, I've opened an issue titled Paystack doesn't work with the Cart & Checkout Blocks. I'll also contact the third-party developer to inform them of the incompatibility.

On https://github.com/tubiz/woo-paystack/issues/73, you can keep an eye on the implementation status of Paystack.

As for PayPal, could you please send me your System Status Report, as requested in https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-blocks/issues/10993#issuecomment-1727042602 so that we can investigate why PayPal is not working on your end?

Thanks for providing the system status report, @OcEchebiri. I see that there are 56 plugins activated on that site currently. On my end, I tested the the PayPal Payments extension only with the WooCommerce plugin. To further troubleshoot, why the PayPal Payments extension is not working on your end, I suggest executing a plugin and theme conflict test. I hope this helps to identify what's causing the issue with the PayPal extension.

In order to activate PayPal for the Cart and Checkout blocks you need to manually add them under the Smart Buttons section. More details in the link above. https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/image-17.png

Has Paypal been deactivated for the checkout block? It doesn't work. I can only see the express button, but not in the checkout form.
