I was able to reproduce. The issue happens when you add any product to the Cart from the Empty cart page.
Heads-up that #4022 is the same issue but with different testing steps. I closed that one as a duplicate of this because I expect the same solution will work for both.
I was able to reproduce this as well, but I'm just noting that I can only replicate this when clicking on a Simple Subscription in the Newest Products block, not variable subscriptions.

Bug Description:
"Something went wrong" error message is displayed on cart page upon removing the product from the cart and adding the new product from the "New in Store" section.
Environment:
Woocommerce Version: WooCommerce 5.1 WordPress version: (v5.7)
