Enable Google Pay in Firefox and other browsers #2613

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Based on feedback from zd-6274042

Currently, Google Pay only works on Chrome which is expected, however, in other Stripe Integrations the Google Pay button works even on Firefox.

This is not limited to Stripe, even other payment gateways like Square will render the button on Firefox. Are there any plans to change this in the future?

I'm the person behind zd-627402.

The Google Pay API docs indicate that non-Google browsers are supported:

https://developers.google.com/pay/api/web/guides/test-and-deploy/integration-checklist#test-using-browser-developer-console

The Google Pay API supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and UCWeb UC Browser.

I appreciate that non-Google browsers are a little bit niche these days but users of them do exist in their millions. It would be good to support their use for Google Pay on WooCommerce/Stripe as is possible with (some) other platforms.

It would be good to see the express checkout options work with Microsoft Edge.

Can someone with appropriate privileges confirm this "issue" and add the appropriate tags? It's still something that's needed.

Thanks.
