What I expected

At the time of writing this, the compatibility was last updated a few months ago (per changelog).

It would be desirable to have the Tested up to field up-to-date in more frequent intervals, if possible. Cheers!

Yep, it appears changelog.txt is still not updated regularly, at the time of writing this. Mentions 7.8.0 while 8.7.0 is out 3 weeks ago: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/blob/e2d607b872e7a8a42f0fd2d17baf78d6b204dfc2/changelog.txt#L3
