Icon enhancement request - alignment, spacing, size

What I expected

Icons have been revised in 4.1.0 per #445 Expected icons to appear in line with radio button, evenly spaced, and sized to match other payment gateways.

What happened instead

While the icons appear as expected in Storefront and TwentySeventeen, in some 3pd themes they do not display as expected in terms of

• size,
• alignment with radio button,
• spacing between icons and
• spacing between lines (where multiple methods are selected in Stripe i.e. Credit Card, Bancontact, iDeal).

Steps to reproduce the issue

Install and activate a 3pd theme such as one of those listed above. Update Stripe to 4.1.0 and proceed to checkout.

Advice is to target CSS .stripe-icon but users have found that each icon must in fact be targeted individually, and have had difficulty in aligning them/manipulating CSS effectively.
