Add support for multiple monitors grabbing on OSX #31

Open chris-tina opened 10 years ago

We have a user that is complaining that Lightpack doesn't support his multi-monitor setup.

Lightpack can only grab screen information only from 1 monitor.

I have this same issue with my triple monitor setup. If I move the grab widgets to the auxiliary screens the led's change to white.

Test build is available now: https://yadi.sk/d/ncrS0BeZc6An6

@naq90 could you verify it, please?

It seems I spoke too soon. I chose one of the presets in setting up my light pack and by default all 10 grab widgets appear on the main monitor. However, when I move the grab widgets to the external monitors (I have 3 monitors total) the brightness of the led goes down immediately. I noticed that if I resize the the grab widgets on the external monitors to cover the entire screen the brightness goes back up. I'd like to have 3 led's on the two external monitors, but I don't want the size of the grab widgets to be so large. I'd like to maintain the brightness at the smaller default size.

Also, on a side note: Optimally, how large should each grab widget be? Should they collectively cover the entire monitor? Or should I keep them at the default 150x150 pixel setting?

I'm running the build @e-yes posted on my 10.10 setup with two monitors, and it works just fine for me!

Just chiming in to let you know that this also fixed the issue with my three-monitor 10.10.2 setup.
