Hi @benjaminmeow and @Zhengwe1,
It's the end of the quarter, so please post an update on this issue. Things to consider:
If there's nothing to change above, then at least post a comment indicating that you've seen this. Thanks!
Hi, I have all my work pushed. I won't be working on this next due to my workload. Thank you for having me this quarter!
Thanks @Zhengwe1! I think the question is whether this issue should be closed. Either it represents all remaining work on the locale and shouldn't be closed, or there are new issues for the remaining work and it should be closed. @benjaminmeow?
Hi Amy,I think this should remain open. I know that me and Russel will continue to work on this next quarter until we can send a pull request into the main branch. There are some unfinished parts that I think were assigned but never completed. Best,Ben
It's the end of Winter! Please provide an update on this issue, including:

Hi Amy,
I am really sorry this is so late, I have been trying to register for classes as people are dropping and figuring out my workload. I have been heavily debating between just volunteering or signing up for credit. Trying not to overcommit myself.
1) There is a new version of the zh-CN that is almost ready to be pull requested. I think there were a few warnings left when you ran npm run locales but most have been resolved for that file.
2)The tutorial file has a lot of warnings and needs a bit of fixing. I don't exactly know how this occurred, but I am guessing it is because there were miscommunications on what and where to edit/translate. This should probably be one of the main focus points of this quarter.
Also, there was a start on quality control with issues being seen in the Chinese version of Wordplay. I had asked the verification team to find any issues and they wrote them up then (see issues 415 - 420 on github). I haven't looked too closely at these but these should be looking to be resolved.
3) Only unmerged branch is Chinese-simplified.
4) I have decided keep working on this issue and have registered for 1 credit.
Sincerely,Ben

Reassigning @benjaminmeow.
What's the problem? We need a Mandarin Chinese locale.
Who benefits? All fluent Chinese readers; 17% of the world.
Design ideas Much of this work might entail fixing interface design that's implicitly biased towards English and Spanish.
