The new flow for uploading to the web directly from your phone should work seamlessly, without error.
Actual behavior
When testing the new flow, the uploads generally failed. As you can see in the following screenshot, a red error box eventually displays alongside the QR popup, but it is devoid of any text:
The only way I found to get the flow to work from my device was to upload a second image to my Media Library, immediately after the first upload fails. There were no indicators on my phone to inform me of the initial failure and no errors logged in Tracks.
I haven't been able to get the flow to work reliably with my device.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
On the web, insert an "Image" or "Gallery" block to a post/page.
Choose Select Image and then select Your Phone from the list of options.
Scan the QR code from your phone.
Follow the phone's prompt to add an image from your device.
Wait to see if an image is successfully uploaded to the web editor.
Tested on Pixel 6, Android 14, JPAndroid / WPAndroid 24.5
