Not only do they sound great but they are the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned

Скажу откровенно. У меня было много наушников самой разной ценовой категории. Протестировав их кучу - могу сказать с уверенностью ничего лучшего нету. Они идеальны. Бас сладкий и приятный Шикарный Бас, можно слушать часами не снимая наушники.

I have a set of Beyerdynamic DT-770 80 ohm and a bravo v2, and even with such a low impedance, and everything sounds much richer with the amp. That said, they also sound great straight from my desktop and macbook without the amp, and pretty good from my mobile. But when I add the amp, turning up the volume reveals undiscovered intricacies and things here and there and really lets me get lost in the sounds.

The DT770's are pretty good but not as neutral as the MDR7506. However, they're slightly more comfortable and have a wider sound stage.

I use Sony MDR-7506's (can't go wrong with these especially for $75-99 bucks) and the Beyerdynamic dt770 pro (my favorite).

I prefer the K553 as an upgrade nowadays, DT770 is very bassy and very bright at the same time

Metal571 Do you currently have the K553? That's what I use in the office every weekday I've owned the AKG K553 Pro in the past. I bought it brand new. The sound was good but in my experience the headband and ear-pads were uncomfortable. DT770 - very v shaped while the AKG is a lot more neutral, but of course comfort is king for long sessions
