from Matthew Welch: Could I ask that you correct the citation to better reflect the fact that it is an online “Living” Document?

I suggest:

Benschop, T and Welch, M. Statistical Disclosure Control for Microdata: A Practice Guide. Retrieved (insert date) from https://sdcpractice.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

I would drop the year of publication as it’s a living document and rather add the download date.

Also, a minor edit. The sdcMicro package is not owned by the World Bank. We funded the inclusion of a number of methods as well as the development of the graphic user interface. Of course that involves our intellectual input, but the package is not ours. It is maintained by staff at Statistics Austria. You could say developed with contributions from the World Bank. To keep a World Bank reference in your text.
