Spectrum gets sluggish in Firefox #8

The spectrum seems to get worse after each track change. It starts out smooth but every time the track changes it gets worse. Can be easily tested by repeatedly skipping forwards and backwards between two tracks.

I wasn't able to reproduce in chrome.

I want to add here that it will indeed work in chrome too, but you need like 10 times the effort.

I wasn't able to reproduce the effect neither in Firefox 63 nor in Chrome 72. Please provide additional info regarding your runtime environment (HW/OS/browser version). (Is any of my other 19 emulators showing the same effect or is it only XMP?)

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

I don't think the hardware is an issue. (Core i7 with nVidia GTX Titan Black)

Is any of my other 19 emulators showing the same effect or is it only XMP?

It seems that all demos on https://www.wothke.ch/home/?p=55 are affected. It probably has something to do with the bar rendering engine and less with the player engine itself.
