The “Mary Sue Protocol” (“MSP” for short) is a simple challenge/response protocol for RP UI add-ons within WoW to communicate with each other and publish text information to other clients (such as RP character names and descriptions).
With the upcoming changes to the protocols, it could be interesting to have a file dedicated to run some testing procedure. Have some typical and non-typical PR profiles, have them be sent via LibMSP and make sure they are identical upon reception. These tests could also be ran when new patches are being tested to check if something has changed.
