Can't compile source code checked out from SVN

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check out source from SVN;
2. Type cmake followed by make in source root dir.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
make output:

SVN source; CentOS 5.6; CUDA 2.3

We requires at least CUDA 3.2 -- we'll update the docs.  Closing this.
