Sorry, I heard with titi (a friend who helps out with a blender addon for importing and exporting wmos/m2s) and learnt that this was a hacky workaround to make some features in wow blender studio to work. I'm closing this issue. I originally created the PRs for his changes to be easier to integrate into the master branch of said blender addon. image
