1 year ago Yep, I am aware of that but this will be easily changed if and when they decide to set separate rates. There is no need to give it as an option until they do, it will just confuse people more.
Although the Welsh Government does not set different income tax rates as England/NI, there is technically a separate Welsh income tax rate since 2019/20 and potentially in future they may change the rates. See https://www.litrg.org.uk/tax-guides/tax-basics/what-welsh-income-tax.
