Catalog export does not exist as stated on product description #1599

"spiffy catalog import / export tool" We have CSV import but nothing at all to export the catalog.

You could use the Wordpress built in export tool but this only exports XML. The only app I'm aware of that can handle XML in a spread sheet is Excel. Google Sheet and Apple Numbers can't edit XML.

This would also mean you need to import your changes back using the Wordpress import tool not our store tool since our tool will only accept CSV.

The request has been brought up several times to be able to export CSV to Excel... make changes and import back with the option to replace/update products.

We should also consider allowing our import tool to import back the standard wordpress xml file as well just for compatibility sake.

For now I've removed mentions of export from our marketing.

Can you milestone this for 4.0 + please. Meanwhile removing it form our marketing is the best option - thanks Ed :)
