Donation not working on SINGLE product page

I need to be able to display a donation product on a single product page (not in the donation widget).

It all looks fine on the product page, but the donation amount is NOT captured. It just flows to the checkout page as a $0 amount.

Anyone have any luck getting the donation to work on a SINGLE PRODUCT page?

Here's a screencast - I was able to add a donation to the cart from the single page, no problem. Can you offer further steps to replicate?

Put in an amount of $100, go to the checkout and it will say $0.

Thanks, Joe. Unfortunately, there's quite a few variables that may be affecting your issue here that I don't have access to. Everything from server configuration, WP/WPeC versions, theme or plugin conflicts, etc. I'd need to know what to do to replicate it locally in order to fix it.

Is this a regression? Was this working for you at some point - was there something that was updated that you think may have caused it to stop working?

It hasn’t worked from the get-go.

I’m happy to screen share with you or give you the access you need to investigate. This is a “sandbox site” I use to test before putting in to production sites.

It seems to work OK as a widget, but I need it on the single product page.

Thanks for that, Joe. My first route of debugging here would be to first switch from your custom theme to a default theme and see if the issue persists. If it's not a theme conflict, I'd then disable all the plugins besides WP e-Commerce and see if it works. At that point (I would assume it would work at this point, as it does for me), I'd re-enable plugins, one-by-one, to see where the conflict is arising.
