FTP password got lost repeadatly #96

We are using the plugin on many websites. From time to time the ftp password gets lost. And clearly this leads to a failing backup.

Does anybody know why this happens? Is there anything we can do against it.

Same problem here, but we can not reproduce it. But I think until now it was only once per project (but not on all projects) an if we configure the password a 2nd time, it was not lost again until now. Furthermore the lost was only after some successful backups.

Same here with the current version 3.8.0. One website after another lost the FTP password within in the last weeks.

Maybe this helps to find the bug: We changed the cron job method for backups from WP-Cron to a real cron job on all our websites about a month ago. At first, everything worked fine, but after a week or so the first websites lost their FTP passwords and since then one after another. Once the FTP password is re-entered it works fine again, currently. Fingers crossed!
