10 months ago Closing as the typo was fixed in https://github.com/wpilibsuite/allwpilib/pull/5773 and is in beta 2, and the other improvements suggestions were opened in https://github.com/wpilibsuite/vscode-wpilib/issues/628
Timeslice Robot is currently listed as "Timesice"
Other related feedback that can be moved somewhere else: My impression is the list of project templates could benefit from reordering or reworking. It's quite long and if you don't know which option you want going in it could be very confusing.
Maybe another selector in the wizard where you select the controller platform before selecting the project type? (roboRIO/Romi/XRP)
