For the presentation at https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/Marking_open-access_references_cited_on_Wikipedia , we shall use the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaria and mark up some of the openly licensed references cited therein using the icons from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2014-01-15/Op-ed#cite_note-Williams2010-1 (keeping https://github.com/wpoa/OA-signalling/issues/84 in mind).

The license icon shall link to the license URL at Creative Commons, the Wikisource icon shall deep link to the full text in the English Wikisource's main namespace (possibly with second-level OA signalling, as per https://github.com/wpoa/OA-signalling/issues/100 ), the Commons icon shall link to the DOI's category on Commons (naming scheme as in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Media_from_highly_reused_open-access_articles ), and the Wikidata icon to the Wikidata entry for the article, which shall contain the metadata, including about file uploads and citations from Wikipedia.

This should be finalized before or during the Wikimania Hackathon: https://github.com/wpoa/OA-signalling/issues/101 .
