Feature Request: Add Replacement Code for %%user_login%% to Payment Gateway Signup Confirmation Emails #849

Open patdumond opened 8 years ago

patdumond commented 8 years ago

Since WordPress no longer sends an email to users when passwords are set at registration, it would be nice if site owners could use the replacement code for the User Login (%%user_login%%) in the payment gateway Signup Confirmation Emails (for example, WordPress Dashboard →s2Member®(Pro) → PayPal Options → Signup Confirmation Email (Pro-Form)).

See: Feature Request: %%wp_login_url%% code for Signup Confirmation Email #703

@KTS915 Thanks for referencing #703. I just wanted to point out that this GitHub issue is still valid, as this is requesting %%user_login%% and #703 is requesting %%wp_login_url%%.

Both would be great additions!

Thanks, @raamdev: I wasn't saying that this isn't valid; just trying to make sure that one is not overlooked!
