Overall indiv: 30/35

Seed 5/5

Predicted Teacher final assessment 4/5

Group Grade 19/21

Individual assignments and completion 2/4

I did complete numerous things for the project such as create algorithms with java, create a front-end display for the data, make the about page and do various visual improvements to the project and fix some small bugs. However, I was unable to successfully implement security which is why I gave myself a 3/4.

My evaluation of my experience with security

I initially added all files and had correctly displaying login with stable website, however after some commits, it became unstable, and all my work was commented out. After this I spend hours attempting to find the reason as to why I had the bugs that I did have.

Despite all of this I still wasn't able to fix the error. I find it extremely likely that the error has to do with how our current database is structured, however I cannot replace it since it is already working. If I were to do it again, I would have started my database related things with security first and then added things on to it so that I would be able to guarantee that the security worked.

I still took a lot away from this I learned...

Overall I gained an increased understanding of how to handle security. It was simply unfortunate that I wasn't able to figure out the small error that was preventing me from making it work.

Project Reflection

I practiced a lot of the skills I had already learned in the other things that I did, like java and html. I feel that my strength in both languages has been tangibly improved and I feel more proficient than before. I also feel like I would know how to create a simply website with the skills that I have which is really exciting to me. I enjoyed working with my teammates and conversing with them to formulate solutions to the problems that I was dealing with.

N@TM reflection:

It was exciting to share our progress with others and hearing their feedback. I've always enjoyed hearing feedback from others as it really helps me identify what I need to work on. It gives a different perspective on the situation which I've often found invaluable. Besides feedback, it was moment where I could be proud of the work that I had achieved over only three weeks and seeing other's reactions only made me prouder. Although I definitely believe that my project could of been better I still feel like we had good content in their and that the work that succeeded was notable.

Scrum Master Seed Grading: 5/5

Worked diligently on different features during class. I know he struggled with authentication, but I still give props to him for asking questions and remaining active with his issues (rather than ignoring them). I know he tried his best to resolve these issues. Attended N@TM and helped present project.
