Wow, that was fast! I just got the email from BDR about the gcc10 problem and hadn't had a chance to look over it yet.

I'll go ahead and merge this and try to take a look tonight. If everything checks out, I'll submit the update tonight.

@snoweye I can't get gcc to build and none of the PPA's work. Any chance I could get a dockerfile with gfortran-10?

nevermind, I finally got it built. well that was awful.

I'll run the revdep check tomorrow.
