Hi, Have you successfully run WRF3.9.1+CLM4 ? If yes, can I have your namelist.input? Thanks. Y
@yogeshkumkar Please post this to the Forum: https://forum.mmm.ucar.edu/. Thanks.
@yogeshkumkar Sorry for very late reply. Yes,what's wrong with your wrf-clm4?
Hi @andrewsoong , have you tried to update CLM5 in WRF by yourself?
Hi @andrewsoong , have you tried to update CLM5 in WRF by yourself?
CLM5 has been added to WRF in version4.3: The capability to couple Community Terrestrial Systems Model (CTSM) with WRF via LIghtweight Land Atmosphere Coupler (LILAC) is added and activated by setting namelist option sf_surface_physics to 6. This is the initial beta release of WRF-CTSM coupling capability. For instructions on how to run WRF with CTSM please check instructions on using CTSM with WRF. See the WRF-CTSM User’s Guide (https://escomp.github.io/ctsm-docs/versions/master/html/lilac/specific-atm-models/wrf.html). Questions regarding this capability can be addressed to the CTSM Forum (https://bb.cgd.ucar.edu/cesm/forums/ctsm-clm-mosart-rtm.134/).
Thanks a lot. This really helps. > > Hi @andrewsoong , have you tried to update CLM5 in WRF by yourself?

Hello, I am a PhD staudent, major in land-atmospere interactions. Is there any plans to update WRF-CLM4 to WRF-CLM5 or adds a new land surface scheme(CLM5) to WRF ? I know CLM5.0 has released last year with significant improvement!I think wrf-clm5 performs better in land-atmosphere interactions.
