Infobar and plugin suggestions #312

Honestly, I wanted to see some of the following from the twitter:

  1. A way to display more than 1 stat in the infobar
  2. A plugin to visualise your text into graphs.

Any plans to bring these to the upcoming versions, though?

Hi, multiple stats in infobar were deprecated - you can click the counter to view others and change though.

Word frequencies plugin is almost ready. i.

Here is a bare bone version of that plugin, but it works fine. Feedback appreciated. i. Word_frequencies.zip

Took a look at the plugin, looks really nice. Slight bug, the word omits apostrophes (e.g. Don't gets recorded as Dont), which is fine. But when I click them it searches for the term with the omitted apostrophe (It searches the document for "Dont"-s instead of "Don't"-s).

Wish I could record GIFs, but I can't really at the moment.

You should also consider a way to make plugins update asynchronously (or limit how many times it can be updated in a second) from the editor. It's easy to lag out the editor with big documents (e.g. Preview Plugin with a 25k word document, if I spam enter to update it, it'll put significant load on the editor).
