Thanks for your continued efforts.

I write in Portuguese. When I export a file in text format, all the accented words are replaced with jargon characters. Is there a way to change this?

I also noted that the Portuguese dictionary still not working.

Best.

Hi, can you post an example (screenshot) for accented -> jargon problem? Yes still problems with some dictionaries, I'm actively looking for a solution. i.

Hi, Thank you very much for your reply. I'm attaching two files. One from a Word processor and the other one produced by Writmonkey. I hope this helps in identifying the problem.

Thanks.

Hi,

I was able to open the text files produced by Writmonkey with Wordpad. I also tried with Openoffice. and worked fine. So, seems like WM is doing its job according to the specs of UTF-8.

Cheers.

Me again... Is there a way to make WM-3 export TXT files with ANSI coding? I was able to do that with WM version 2.7. It would save me the extra steps of converting with Word Pad from UTF-8 to ANSI.

Thanks.
