Any plans/issues with updating WM3 to run natively on the Apple M1 silicon chip? It's running fine right now but I worry about long-term compatibility.

I'll definitely look into it. But first some problems must be resolved to support all newer nw.js builds. Right now there is only beta version of nw.js for M1 macs.

BTW: How good it is running right now on M1? Is it slower? Other issues?

Thanks,

i.

I've only had the M1 for a couple of days, but as of now I haven't encountered any issues with WM3 though I haven't had time to do a whole lot with it. Speed seems fine. I haven't tried to directly compare it with WM3 on my older Intel Mac yet. I did compare it to IA writer on my M1, which is a universal app, and IA is definitely much zippier than WM3 when moving between sheets, but I don't know, maybe it was always faster at that? (Note that I always bind my WM sheets to files, so perhaps that has something to do with it.) The actual text editing in WM3, working with the command palette, etc., all seems very responsive and fast, so I have no complaints. I just don't know how long Apple is going to keep up the Rosetta thing for Intel apps.
