When you click inside a paragraph, that paragraph returns to its normal layout, with the first line indented to the right, rather than to the left. However this is very annoying and time-consuming, as you have to do this every time you open the page, and for each paragraph.
Otherwise WriteMonkey is perfect for my wife, who writes in Chinese, and doesn't want distractions from menus, etc.
In Chinese, strings appear as a continuous succession of characters.
You can reproduce this effect by setting Preferences > Layout > Paragraph indent, then pasting a text such as the following:
