The software they provide isn't amazing but it gets the job done. This has support for a "webcam" which can supposedly be a camcorder if you work it right. I have not tried that yet.
Record video: Option 1) Record separately and mix with the slides after the fact (most video software has a feature that lines up sound in separate clips). This is what I'm doing currently using a really small video camera.

I believe that you can turn a camcorder into a webcam with this box.
Option 3) A GoPro can also be used as a webcam, though you will lose the zoom capability.
Total costs should be $500 or less depending on what you have already.
