configure script is missing #9

Hello,

I tried to build es-shell, following the instructions in INSTALL and found out that configure script is not available. Would be great to try out this shell.

Finally I made it to compile. Took me some time to find the right instructions how to generate the configure script. I had to run:

aclocal autoconf automake --add-missing

This generated the configure script and then I could generate the makefile, compile and install as described in the INSTALL file.

In the end, it would be helpful to either add a configure file to the repository or the instructions above.

In case it matters, I am running on Ubuntu 12.04LTS x86_64
