Gridless measurment no longer working #81

This worked fine in 0.7.5 but doesn't work anymore.

In the console it shows: "Cannot read property 'length' of undefined" Only for gridless. If you enable the any grid option, it works.

Ya but if there's a grid then I don't need a distance measuring tool.

Sorry. Maybe my comment wasn't clear, but I'm just giving more information about the problem.

This is a big deal because we use it for measuring distances on city maps without grids. Please recover that functionality.

Also shift+drag no longer shows actual range.
