Yes, Alt+V is now used for Zotero's View menu. So you'd need another shortcut for tags.
Currently, Alt+Shift+V is also just opening the View menu, which seems to be a Zotero issue. You could perhaps use Ctrl+Shift+V.
Yes, that should work, but leaving the default as-is would require every shortcut-key user to apply such custom workaround. IMHO it's better to adjust the shortcut keys for copy and paste by default, since current default for paste has become non-functional. (Perhaps the choice which shortcut key to set can be decided after the double Zotero shortcut key problem has settled.)
Zutilo doesn't set any shortcuts by default. We could try to detect shortcuts set by the user that have become shadowed by Zotero and give a warning, but I don't think we have the bandwidth to do something like that.

My bad, apologies! It seems I have chosen Alt+C/V many years ago myself, wasn't aware of that. So to be solved locally indeed.
Thank you for correcting me.
Probably this behaviour started after my upgrade to Zotero 6. Before, I could copy and paste tags with Alt+C and Alt+V. (I love the feature!) After upgrading, Alt+C still works but Alt+V expands the View menu (with underlined 'V'). Although manually updating the shortcut keys might be a sufficient local workaround, this behaviour is probably seen on any default Zotero 6 + Zutilo installation?
Using Zotero 6.0.4 with Zutilo 3.10.0.
